The local arts and theatre community in this area is fantastic. Lots of unique and vibrant groups
and organizations put roots down here. When I first saw the promotional material for the MT space
theatre, I contacted them right away with an offer to help brand the group and start a process for a
consistent identity. And they took me up on it.

I worked quite a bit with the idea of space and the negative shapes made out of the interlocking
circles and the letters knocked out of those same circles.

Initially, it was decided to include the full name of the theatre as a tag, so people would know
that the MT meant more then just a clever play on 'empty'. The long-term goal is to eventually drop
the tag as the group strengthens their position in the community.
